About Maize

I have 10 years of experience, and am thrilled to meet your little one. I have a masters degree and have taught and tutored for years so would love to bring learning into your child's every day play and exploration of the world. I am a proponent of outside play and prefer to exclude screens/media a majority of the time. I believe there is so much to learn from crafts, daily activities, games, and conversation. My goal would be to help in every capacity possible (laundry, dishes, meals) so that when you get home you can spend the much needed quality time with your little one! I am so good at making kiddos feel special, loved, and smiley, but also good at compassionately setting boundaries so they feel safe and secure. I am also a counselor part time, but love kiddos so continue to nanny. I am musically inclined and love animals so sharing those dynamics with little ones brings me great joy!
