About Maiyun

As a mother of two incredible teenage daughters. I understand how much time, attention and energy your child needs in order to fully thrive and excel in school and social environments. I love to read and have experienced the most joy in volunteering to teach grades K - 5 to the fundamentals of reading and comprehension. I truly enjoy teaching elementary school aged children how to read and write. I have always enjoyed learning about history and teaching what I've learned with my children as well as helping them with their history assignments. Both of my daughters have grown up involved in performing arts. My oldest daughter has been dancing for 16 years and my youngest daughter has been in the theater for four years. I was also a performing arts kid. I spent some time studying art theory and history during my younger adult years. There is so much knowledge in the world to be shared and learned.
