About Maisie

I have over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages in various settings. Most recently I worked periodically as a K-12 substitute teacher. I was a pediatric resident physician for 2. 5 years before deciding to transition to non-clinical work. My love for working with children started when I had my first nannying job at 11 years old. The experience was so fulfilling that I continued to take on nannying/babysitting jobs throughout high school, college, and even during my summer breaks in medical school. My additional relevant experience includes working as a patient care technician (CNA) at a children's hospital and teaching group and one-on-one swimming lessons during my time as a lifeguard and assistant manager at my community's swimming pool. Through these experiences, I have developed a deep understanding of children's needs and a proven ability to create safe, inclusive, and nurturing environments.
