Hailing from Kailua and growing up in a bustling household with 5 kids, including 3 younger siblings --twins who are 7 years my junior and a brother who is 15 years younger --- I've been steeped in the joys of nurturing and caregiving since a young age. Helping to raise my younger brother has been a wonderful journey that has solidified my love for child care. With babysitting experience since I was 13, 5 years of as a nanny, and an additional 8 months as an extended day kindergarten teacher, I bring a wealth of hands-on expertise in fostering a nurturing and creative environment for children. Maile has helped me watch my son since he was 4 months. She plays creative games with him, helped him with tummy time and now helps him walk around, reads to him, and plays and sings kid songs for him, along with other activities. She has adjusted her sitting style to accommodate his age, with a focus on developmental activities to help my son progress. She has also helped out with my dogs as requested, even putting up with one dog's insatiable desire to play fetch. :) We are glad we found her!
