About Maia

I've been a caregiver for over 6 years, and I absolutely love my job! I'm patient, calm, and friendly, and I have a strong desire to make a positive impact on children's lives. I have experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to adolescents. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and following the parents' lead, and I always communicate openly with parents about their child's day and any issues that arise. I enjoy outdoor activities like biking and hiking, hands-on activities like board games and puzzles, and solo activities like reading. I'm also willing to help with cooking and meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I have First Aid and CPR Training (certification has lapsed since July 2024) and I have completed coursework in developmental psychology, so I'm confident in my ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your child. I'm looking forward to getting to know your family and helping your child grow and learn!
