About Maggie

I'd describe my personality as calm, friendly, and cheerful. I like caring for seniors because I love to help those who are in need. I am a student in the college of nursing at UK and I have worked at a nursing home because of how important this is to me. I hope that one day when I am older someone will take good care of me, so I want to be that person for others. I'm looking for a job that is flexible with my school schedule. I started caring for seniors when I worked at a nursing home and started school in the college of nursing. I feel like taking care of others is a motivator for me in life. In my spare time, I like to exercise and play pickle-ball in the summer. In the winter I like to cook and listen to podcasts. One thing you should know about me is I will put myself in the shoes of whoever I am taking care of. My skills include my skills I have learned in nursing school with care techniques, therapeutic communication, and patience.
