About Maggie

Hey, I'm Maggie! I'm an adventurous soul with a big heart who loves working with kids. I recently moved to the PHX area and I am looking to work with a family who needs a homeschool teacher and/or nanny. I got my undergraduate degrees in Child Development and Early Childhood Education. I also went to grad school for psychology! I have 2 years of experience as Head Start Early Childhood Specialist, where I taught low-income children. I then became a social worker for two years when I lived in Nashville. I also nannied for a high profile family on the east coast for a while. I believe kids should learn more hands-on and through play, rather than from an iPad or computer. But I am open to mixing the two if needed! I am looking go work with kids in a more one-on-one setting and would love to nanny and/or home school for an awesome family!
