About Maggie

I'm an experienced caregiver looking to nanny part-time in Chicago. My current schedule is flexible, including availability on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends. I'm super responsible, organized, self-motivated, and down-to-earth. I love to connect with kids of all ages, and help provide the structure and support they need to thrive. My interest in childcare began in my teens when I babysat for several neighborhood families, and it's been so rewarding to have been a part of those families' lives. In college, I worked for 4 summers at YMCA Camp Minikani, as an overnight and day camp counselor and later, the camp's waterfront director. Besides camp, I've sought out fun opportunities to engage with kids wherever I go, including teaching socially-distant youth tennis during the pandemic, providing online tutoring, and even navigating life as a preschool teacher for 4 months in Cuenca, Ecuador.
