I'm Maggie, I'm 23, and I studied Speech and Language Pathology. My experience covered adult patients who had experienced stroke or brain injury as well as kiddos with and without special needs. I've worked with a few different AAC devices. I have a friend who has autism and for 10 years I was his student-care-partner when his school aide wasn't present. He helped set me up for a lifetime of teaching about inclusion and accessibility for people with special needs. I know how important it is to trust and rely on a caregiver. I'm easy going, and I'm also a trained clinician, so I work hard and really care about the people I work with.
