Magdalena was our family’s nanny for nine and a half years. She started with us when my oldest son was 4 months old and stayed with us through the births of 3 more of our children until the littlest started Kindergarten. Our four children are now 9, 7, 5, and 5 years old (twins). I knew Magda was the nanny for my family within the first 5 minutes of the interview. She loves children, and it shows! She asked to hold my infant son, walked around with him, explored his room, and he never fussed. Each of my children bonded immediately with Magda, and totally adore her. She is caring, kind, and loving. Besides creating a warm and nurturing environment for our children, Magda took care of many things for us. Magda kept our kitchen organized and clean and made breakfast and lunch for the kiddos every day. She brought dry erase books to the house and used them to teach all of them letters and numbers. She read to them every day, got them down for naps in the early years, bathed them or taught them to bathe themselves, and taught them self-care routines. Not to mention, she did all of their laundry. Magda was always prompt and reliable. She stayed late or came to the house early if we asked. She juggled activities for four children without ever missing an appointment, taking them all over our area. She is a very safe driver and a trustworthy woman. It was with sad and heavy hearts that we said goodbye to Magda as our nanny. She has become a part of our family, and we love her dearly. It is my great hope that her next family treasures her like we do. She has been an immense blessing to our family.
