About Mae

I was born in Haiti and adopted at age 4. I have a large family. I have always really enjoyed learning and taken my education very seriously. Growing up, my family did foster care, I have a lot of experience with kids of all different ages and backgrounds. I worked two jobs helping kids from age 3 to 12. I would help with basic needs as well as reading and math skills. It made me be creative to help the child learn and also pushed me to create bonds with all these children. I very much loved both of my jobs and hope to keep working with kids. I have a passion to help children learn and thrive and I would love to help a family with creating a safe and happy environment for their children. I am a fast learner. I'm very attentive, and passionate. I'm a good listener and a very forward speaker. I go by the rules and make sure that I'm doing the right thing not only for my employer but for the child I am working with and I try to strive to bring out confident, side and creativity.
