About Madison

Hi there! My name is Madison (I go by Madi) and I am a graduate from University of Colorado, Boulder! I have a bachelors degree in psychology. My passion for working with children came from a recognition of the impact caregivers made on my own life as a child. My mom was a single mother, which made babysitters, summer camps, and after school programs a very familiar experience for me. I learned from the caregivers I had, that empathy, care, and compassion can come from someone outside of your immediate family! Not only did it impact me developmentally, but they made it fun in the meantime. The memories we made of going to the park, or watching movies at night while my mom was at work are some that I will enjoy forever. From past experience, nannying is very fulfilling. I've also nannied for children with disabilities (Down syndrome and autism). From these experiences I've learned how to create a positive, but stern relationship with the kids I've nannied.
