About Madison

I'm Maddy and I am a very experienced care giver! I have been babysitting for neighbors as long as I can remember and also nannied three summers in a row while in college. I nannied three children at the shore and not only watched them in the ocean/bay, but also gave them rides to playdates, camp, and activities like the movies. My passion for kids influenced my decision to pursue a bachelors degree and a masters degree in special education while getting certified as a reading specialist. I love entertaining and caring for children and also have a love for all animals! Following college I nannied full time for a family in Fishtown for just under a year as well for a family in Haverford for about 1. 5 years before becoming a teacher. I taught in a self contained classroom in Philadelphia for 2 years and am now in my 2nd year teaching special education in Manayunk. I am looking to make my way out of the classroom, but stay rooted in my love for children and caring for them!
