About Madison

Hello! My name is Madison and I am 33 years old. I am a first grade teacher looking for a SUMMER job. I have been caring for children since I was a child myself. I started working as a babysitter at 12 years old. Then at age 13 I started working in summer camps as well. During college I worked in several different preschool and infant/toddler care settings. Now I am a public school teacher with 11 years experience. I love children of all ages but specifically enjoy working with young children, babies, and toddlers. When working with children I love to find ways to make sure that we are learning and having fun. Empathy and independence are two things I work hard to instill in the children I care for. We will be outside as much as the MD weather will allow. It is my belief that the only way to be successful in working with children is to have a strong partnership with the child's parent. I am flexible, easy going, nurturing, dependable, and speak fluent English and Spanish. Hire me? :)
