Hello, my name is Madi! I am a Master of Social Work student at App State, with a passion for working alongside individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. I have worked in a group home setting as a habilitation technician trainee for adults with Intellectual or Developmental disabilities. I enjoyed every second of it and still think about those clients today! I currently work at a childcare clinic, providing Direct Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy to children with disabilities. The best thing about this job is knowing I can go to work and see my clients smile, laugh, learn, and overcome their challenges. Nothing puts a bigger smile on my face! I am an avid lover of animals, and especially our furry friends! I grew up with two dogs: a yellow lab and a Lhasa Lier. I adopted my kitty, Bean, a little over a year ago, and I absolutely adore her! My partner and I love our second cat too, Eddie. I've had guinea pigs, hampsters, and fish all in the past as well.
