Hi! I have been babysitting for over 10 years now and I absolutely love it. I recently moved to South Philly with my wife and 2 puppies and work remotely as a Hospitality Manager ! I have lots of experience with children of all ages, starting at newborn all the way through high school! I was previously a nanny for 2 middle school boys until I moved states for school. I watched them 5 days a week and followed a schedule for all of the activities. I'm very flexible and available on short notice as well! I'm looking for occasional sittings and also long term if I fit correctly with your families needs!

During our initial Google Meet interview with Madison, she left a positive impression—enthusiastic about the role and quick to accept the offer. Trusting her commitment, I declined other potential candidates. Her start date was supposed to be tomorrow, 8/9. However, my husband and I adjusted our schedules today for a 30-minute meet and greet with the kids (Which she suggested). Before concluding our call, I took a moment to verify the hourly rate on her profile, as it seemed low for her experience, but she confirmed it. All seemed well, but when I tried to finalize the details, Madison became completely unresponsive. I was concerned for her safety and hoped she was ok since she had been so prompt in her replies and asked me to text her with the finalized details. However, I noticed her website now reflected a higher rate than we had agreed and that she read my messages without replying. While I would have been open to discussion and comfortable with the new rate, the sudden lack of communication after our positive start was baffling and unsettling. Her sudden silence has left me feeling quite disheartened and confused. It pains me to leave this negative review after our promising start. Still, the inconvenience and emotional turmoil caused by this unexpected turn of events are hard to overlook, especially since I am nine weeks postpartum (the emotional roller coaster of thinking I finally found someone after multiple interviews has been incredibly challenging). Life is complex, and circumstances change. So I reached out one last time before writing this review seeking clarity and hoping to understand the sudden shift, to no avail. Finding the right person to care for your children is not just a task; it's an emotional journey. Her acceptance of the role brought a wave of relief and now, its absence, a profound sense of uncertainty. In professions like childcare, trust, and communication are essential. Our experience with Madison, unfortunately, deviated from these standards.
