I was blessed with a younger sister, with autism and some additional mild intellectual delay, that has granted me the time and experience to understand what it takes to take care of a special needs child. I know how important it is for you and your family to feel comfortable letting someone else take care of your child especially when they need extra help. The height of my experience is with autistic children, those who are nonverbal, those who use some basic American Sign Language, and various sensory issues.
