About Madison

Hello! I have been teaching for nearly a decade. As an educator and a student pursuing a Master's in Marriage Family Therapy, I believe that teaching and therapy share a common goal: to empower individuals and communities to reach their full potential. In both fields, empathy and compassion are essential skills that enable us to understand and support those we serve! From giving private music lessons, volunteering as a camp counselor, and working as a preschool helper, to working as a behavior coach and teaching abroad for 6 years, I am very well versed in the various ways in which children learn and grow and have come to appreciate the importance of taking a holistic approach to teaching and learning! By recognizing the social, emotional, and mental health needs of my students, I am able to create a learning environment that is not only academically challenging, but also supportive and inclusive!
