About Madison

I'd describe my personality as driven, disciplined, and outgoing. I like working with animals because they are energetic, cute, and fun to play and hangout with! I have a full time job during the week, and am willing to work outside of the hours 7AM-5 p.m. during the week. I am available most weekends. I am dedicated to helping students succeed and adapt my teaching to fit their individual learning styles. As an AmeriCorps member, I primarily work with elementary students, providing academic support in foundational subjects like reading and math. I create a positive and encouraging learning environment, tailoring instruction to meet each student's needs and helping them build confidence in their abilities. I focus on patience, engagement, and making learning accessible, ensuring that students not only improve academically but also develop a genuine interest in their education.
