About Madison

I'd describe my personality as warm, energetic, and creative. I like working with kids because I love to hear and answer their interesting questions, and share in the interests and activities. I started working with kids when I was a preteen. I've babysat on and off in addition to working ever since! Last year my sister and brother-in-law, who I live with, had their first baby. Since then, I have been spending lots of extra time with my new niece and have felt so fulfilled! In my spare time, I love to read! This includes reading aloud to kids. I always encourage the kids I take care of to let me read to them in addition to play and tv time. One thing you should know about me is I love to have an idea of what our routine should look like. Structure is so helpful for both the kids and the babysitter! If I know what we need to get done at what time I am more able to lean into silly play time when we can while also maintaining the dinner bath bed routine.
