I am 23 years old and just graduated from University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a psychology degree. I am currently working at a group home in Woodbury through ACR homes. I have experience working with non-verbal individuals with a wide range of needs as well as verbal individuals. I assist them in their daily cares, transportation, and medical needs. I have experience passing medications, working with J/G tubes, and nebulizers. This job has helped me grow as an individual and has strengthened my problem solving skills. It was has been a challenge learning each resident and their individual needs and what works and what doesn't, but has been rewarding all the same. I have a strong passion for helping people and being an advocate for their needs. I believe that all life is intrinsically valuable and everyone deserves love, respect, and dignity. I am all about positivity, meaningful experiences, and having a good time while ensuring individuals receive the best care possible.
