About Madison

Hello! I am a passionate educator with over a decade of experience working with children. I was a preschool teacher for three years, a daycare provider for two and a nanny of an infant for one and a half. I also have experience working with school age children, as an after-school program leader, a volunteer and a supervisor of teenage staff in a joint museum/library education program. As a volunteer at a free village school in Uganda, I also trained preschool and kindergarten teachers. I have a great deal of experience designing curriculum that is age-appropriate, fun and inclusive of any personal, cultural or religious identities. Lessons will be play based, child initiated and promote early reading, art, math and science skills, nature, motor development and imagination. There will also be lots of songs, story time and silliness. I am familiar with Montessori practices, baby sign language, sleep training, food introduction and potty training.
