I'm a compassionate candidate with 5. 5 years childcare experience (3m-12y) and a mom of a 2. 5-year-old. Certifications I hold are pediatric and adult CPR/AED, choking and first aid, Mandated Reporter Training, Supervision of Children, School Age Childcare, the Ups and Downs of Outdoor Play, and Foundations in Health and Safety. I have my NSOR and state background clearances too. Negative for TB. Most recently, I worked in a Montessori based early childhood classroom and some preschool. Core principles of my caregiving are Montessori oriented. Children are deserving of respect and space, it is our job to guide them in their individuality while role modeling healthy boundaries and expectations. It is important to me to maintain an intentional environment, encourage learning through play, and connect with each child individually.
