About Madison

I'm a compassionate, fun, responsible candidate with 5 years of experience in childcare (3 months-12 years) and a mom of a 2-year-old. Certifications I hold are Mandated Reporter Training, Supervision of Children, School Age Childcare, the Ups and Downs of Outdoor Play, and Foundations in Health and Safety. I have my NSOR and state background clearances as well. Negative for TB. I am certified in pediatric and adult CPR/AED, choking and first aid. I'm currently employed at Wellsboro Children's House. Key components in my caregiving are learning and creativity that are encouraged through Montessori principles. Giving guidance without interfering with independence and self growth. It is important to me to maintain a safe and clean environment, engage and connect with each child, and be a strong role model while respecting the guardians wishes!
