About Madelyn

Hello! I'm Madelyn, and I am new to the Champaign-Urbana area! I am a recent graduate of Missouri State University, and I have 3+ years of paid childcare experience at WeCare (Blue Springs, MO). In that role, I worked in all rooms, from the nursery to school age. During the school year, I would assist in before and after-school care, where I would often help the older kids with their homework. In Summer 2021, I was the lead instructor for the school-age summer camp program, where I got to plan daily activities, crafts, and games. In that role, I got very comfortable keeping up to 25 energetic children engaged and active all day long! I have my American Red Cross certification in adult, child, and baby first aid, CPR, & AED, and I am willing to take additional courses to become a more reliable caretaker for your kids! I also know my way around the kitchen and would be happy to assist in meal prep, cleaning, and laundry. I will always leave your place cleaner than I found it!
