About Madelynn

I have been working in child care for over 7 years with experience as a kindergarten teacher, all ages art teacher, and as the Director of Childcare for the YMCA k-5 childcare program for the past 3 years. I am very passionate about encouraging learning, curiosity, and supporting new experiences in the lives of the children I work with. I love working with children of all ages and find joy in encouraging early childhood milestones especially those developed in infancy and among younger children. I am fully certified for infant, child, and adult first aid and CPR. I graduated top of my class at Valdosta state university with a Bachelors in Fine Arts and focus much of my daily lesson plans around different art projects and education. My personal hobbies include ceramics, gardening, and cooking. I am happy to work with family pets and assist with errands and light housekeeping.
