Hi there! I'm Maddy, mom to two girls aged 4 and 6. While I don't have any paid childcare experience, I have been doing volunteer work with children for the past 6 years. I worked with Art with a Heart which is a program that brings art classes and after school programs for inner city kids in Indianapolis Indiana. For the past two years I have volunteered weekly in my daughter's kindergarten class. I studied child development in college and continue to stay educated on what our children need in this current climate. I am a believer in gentle parenting and letting children learn and play on their level. I have always loved working with children and would take care of your child as my own. I have experience with neurodivergent children as I have my own as well as a sister with done syndrome and autism. I have been taking my daughters to all kinds of therapies over the past 5 years and have learned so much through that experience about brain development and self regulation.
