About Madeline

Hi, I'm Maddy! I have a strong foundation in providing quality care to individuals with complex medical needs. As a caregiver, I have supported clients with conditions such as Alzheimer's dementia (including end-stage) and stroke recovery. My work included assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), using mobility equipment like Sit-To-Stand and Hoyer Lifts, and maintaining open communication with families. Additionally, I have volunteered in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and oncology departments at UNC Rex, gaining hands-on exposure to patient care and strengthening my dedication to becoming a nurse. I've completed all nursing prerequisites and am actively preparing to pursue my RN. I'm passionate about promoting dignity, comfort, and independence for those in my care. My goal is to provide empathetic, evidence-based care while continuously growing my skills to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
