About Madeline

I like caring for homes because less clutter in the house is less clutter in the mind! I started housekeeping when I was in my teens! I worked as a nanny, and did housekeeping on the side. Since then I have done freelance housekeeping for families in Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon and Iowa. I am a nerd for cleaning. It energizes me, and relaxes my clients. However, my first housekeeping "job" was probably when I was 10; I'd go to my friend's house and clean her room for her. I have spent my spare time solo traveling. This year I spent four months backpacking through Japan, South Korea, the Philippines and Taiwan. I also lived on a tropical flower farm on Maui, and spent a month backpacking around Europe. Next on my bucket list is New Zealand. One thing you should know about me is I am trustworthy and reliable. I bring presence, empathy and responsibility to each of my jobs. I take my work very seriously. My skills include organizing, cleaning, and declutterring when instructed.
