I'm looking for an opportunity to use my experience and skills in a non-educational setting. This would be a refreshing change for the summer and a chance to connect with a child in a different way while providing the support they need! With over five years of experience as a special educator, I've always been drawn to those who require creative and empathetic support. I've taught for three years as a Self-Contained Special Educator and I am in my third year as a Social Emotional Learning teacher. I'd describe my personality as optimistic, enthusiastic, and creative! In my spare time, I enjoy staying active and exploring new hobbies. I love music and singing, and I enjoy creative activities like sewing and watercolor painting. I also love spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking or taking my dog to the park. Balancing relaxation with energizing activities is important to me.
