About Madeline

Hi, my name's Madeline! I'm currently a Junior in the psychology program at UVM and work with preschool aged kids in the Kiddie Cats on the Move program. As a caring and experienced childcare provider with six years of experience, I am passionate about nurturing children's growth and development. My journey into childcare began with fulfilling babysitting roles, where I discovered my natural ability to connect with children and positively impact their lives. My strengths lie in my patience, creativity, and friendly nature. I prioritize open and effective communication with parents, ensuring that they receive regular updates about their child's day and any matters that arise. I firmly believe in fostering a nurturing environment that aligns with the household rules established by the parents. When it comes to playtime, I love engaging children in outdoor sports, board games, crafts, and educational activities that spark their curiosity and imagination.
