Hello, I am happy to tell you about myself and why I'm drawn to caretaking. As far back as I can remember, I've been interested in helping others. I started with caring for children, then working with the Special Needs population, and have maintained both areas most of my life. For work, I was also drawn to the service industry - part owning a restaurant in my 30's. In my late 40's I helped care for my mom who was impacted with Alzheimer's. It was an incredible experience, which pivoted my focus to working with elders (hospice, palliative care, etc). I am respectful, warm, responsible, and intuitive. I have a wide breadth of skills. I am comfortable in difficult situations. I hope I might be of help to you and your family.
