About Madeline

Hello! My name is Madeline. I'm a 30-year-old childcare enthusiast living in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. I've lived in New York City for over 8 years, with experience as a nanny, postpartum doula, and assistant preschool teacher. I'm passionate about child development, as well as social and emotional learning. I am a firm believer in hands-on play, meaning I am on the floor of the playroom, in the grass exploring, and running on the playground with kids. I like to give children the freedom to engage in an activity that interests them, while providing encouragement and ideas to help support their curiosity. I'm passionate about community building, and will always be up for a neighborhood excursion, whether that be the library or a museum! I enforce age appropriate boundaries and discipline, and always communicate with parents and caregivers regarding their child. I hope to provide you and your little ones the love, kindness, silliness, and support they need.
