Of my 12 siblings, 8 are adopted and 6 have diagnoses requiring extra attention. I understand first hand caregiver fatigue. I've nannies for about 4 years, and have been working in families homes for 8 years, and 12 years with people with varying abilities through many programs. I've volunteered and worked for many summer camps and day programs for people with special needs. My first summer as a counselor "trainee" I was 12 years old. I worked with kids from 12 weeks and adults up to 92! I have experience with people who have Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism spectrum disorder, oppositional defiance disorder, feeding tubes, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, bipolar, reactive attachment disorder and fetal alcohol syndrome *incomplete list. Madeline is amazing. She helped us with our newly adopted special needs children and also with our newborn twin grandchildren. She is kind and creative. The children loved her. She did g tube feedings as well as care. We moved out of state otherwise we would still have her work for us. You will not be disappointed.
