I started working with kids in 2022 as a substitute in the Central Kitsap School District. In March of 2023, I became the library clerk at Barker Creek Community School. I am on summer break and I am happy to help with any child care needs and light housekeeping. I graduated from Washington State University (go cougs) in 2022 with a Bachelor's of Arts in General Sciences with concentrations in psychology, human development, and anthropology. I am currently looking into getting my master's degree in teaching. A little about me is that I love arts and crafts, specifically painting. Along with art, I enjoy reading and teaching children's literature, especially picture books. My goal, in anything I do, is to create a safe and comfortable environment for people to be themselves. Getting to work with children these last 2 years has been one of the best decisions I've made. Teaching has shown me the importance of patience and kindness, which I hope I can bring into your home.
