About Madeline

Hello Families! My name is Avery (my first name is Madeline, but I go by my middle name), and I'm excited to be seeking a full-time nanny position while pursuing my Master's degree in School Counseling at VCU here in Richmond. A bit about me: I have an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Teaching, both from VCU. I am a licensed teacher in Virginia, certified to teach Pre-K through 6th grade. I would describe myself as caring, open-minded, and fun-loving. With 10 years of experience working with children aged 6 months to 12 years, I'm currently nannying for two wonderful kids, ages 4 and 6, in Northern Virginia. I'm happy to assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, running errands, and transportation. I absolutely love getting kids out to explore museums, parks, music classes, and libraries. I'm passionate about helping children learn and grow, and in my spare time, I enjoy music and spending time outdoors.
