About Madeline

Throughout college, I had the opportunity to engage and work in different educational settings that solidified my dedication to teaching young learners. During the summer and fall of 2020, I participated in my university's It Takes A Village Program, where I virtually tutored and designed lesson plans for a group of 3rd-grade students in literacy and mathematics concepts. I was also a tutor with the America Reads Program throughout my senior year, guiding students on their virtual schoolwork at the Alamance County Boys & Girls Club in North Carolina. My most recent experience was a placement in a first-grade classroom in Gibsonville, North Carolina. By spring 2021, I took on student teaching and the role of full-time teaching in person. In order to best support my students and their learning needs, I was able to incorporate differentiated lessons and modify my instruction based on any accommodations necessary. I am an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated educator ready to help!
