I volunteered at a school for students with cognitive and physical impairments for three summers in elementary classrooms. I also was part of the LINKs program at my high school and worked one-on-one with a student with ASD for a semester, and have taken training on children with ASD as required by the program. I know some ASL and am willing to learn more!
