Hello! I'm Madeleine, originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti immigrated to the USA in 1990s. I have over 23 years of experience as a caregiver, including roles as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide. I'm an expert in providing compassionate, client-centered care, assisting with grooming, bathing, daily living tasks, and maintaining comfortable environment. I have experience with dementia, limited mobility and managing skin integrity. Although I retired as a CNA in 2023, I continued caregiving in 2024 until my client's care ended. I miss the meaningful connections caregiving brings and am seeking a part-time role to continue helping others. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, crossword puzzles, singing in my church choir, and attending services. I look forward to sharing my compassion!

Madeleine was the quintessential caregiver for my mother for 5 years. Mom was 95 when when we first hired Madeleine, who was instrumental in allowing us to keep our mother in her home until age 100. We will forever be grateful for the kind, compassionate care she provided, including making recommendations when noticing abnormalities on mom's skin and bowel movements, to name a few. Madeleine would frequently call me, mom's daughter or leave me a note with her observations before I would come to be there for my mom to oversee her care. Madeleine commuted to mom's house a combination of 7 mornings or evenings to help her get ready to either get in or out of bed. (dressed or undressed and sponge bathed)
