I'm a licensed occupational therapist and have been working in the field for about 5 years now. I work in rehab and hospital settings currently. In the past, I worked for a home care company and provided occupational therapy to people in their homes. I really enjoyed building connections with patients and their families in their home environment. Working in a fast past acute care environment doesn't always allow for making long term relationships with patients and families, which is something I loved about home care. For now, I'm looking to incorporate my clinical background into providing safe, reliable and holistic care taking for older adults.
