About Maddison

I'm looking for a job that is temporary for the summer. I am a full time teacher during the school year, but I'm looking to fill in the summer with some fun and new experiences to enhance my career! I started working with kids in high school. I started with babysitting and nannying jobs, then got a position at an afterschool program. I fell in love with the position, my students and my colleagues. I stayed with them for 4 years including the summers. Since then, I have worked at numerous daycares, afterschool programs and, now, as a full time teacher. In my spare time, I like to relax with my cats, play with my daughter, embroider, draw, paint, and watch my favorite shows. My skills include patience, active listening, and critical thinking. I am not one to get angry or raise my voice with children of any age. They are only just learning how the world works, so being able to be patient with their learning and actively listen to them is essential to their development.
