About Maddie

Hi families! My name is Maddie and I am about to graduate with my Elementary Education degree from Appalachian State and then continue schooling there in the Professional School Counseling department. I have worked with children as young as 6 mo. and as old as 8th graders. I genuinely enjoy childcare and I love getting to learn and grow with the children I watch. I am a fun, kind, and curious person which is reflective in my care. I am comfortable enforcing household rules in addition to my own rules which primarily concern safety and my own boundaries. I am transparent when communicating, and am happy to share fun things as well as behavioral concerns at the end of the day with parents. I'm also not afraid to text with any questions or concerns throughout the day.
