About Maddie

Being the youngest of four kids I never had a lot of experience in working with kids and babysitting. After working with my church's Pre-K program for three years I discovered that I love working with kids. Because of this positive experience I started to work for a school's aftercare program and eventually their summer program. During this time I got to work with and learn from teachers to learn the best ways to engage and work with kids. I maintain open communication with parents, ensuring that they're informed about their child's day and any concerns that arise. Whether it's verbal communication during pickup or regular updates via text or phone call, I believe in transparent communication. Regarding household rules, I follow the parents' lead, ensuring consistency for your child. I enjoy playing games and doing arts and crafts. I am comfortable caring for up to three kids and am willing to assist with cooking and meal preparation, as well as light housekeeping.
