About Mackenzie

I have a lifetime of experience with many types of animals. In childhood I brought home frogs, snakes, birds, and bugs. My pets have included cats, dogs, rats, hamsters, freshwater fish, and chameleons. Last year I raised and released four orphaned squirrels who are now thriving, a beautiful and educational time for me. I also completed a 12 week zoo internship, during which time I cleaned, fed and handled many species wild and domestic. I continue to work toward my dream job of wildlife rehabilitator. I am particularly interested in providing for animals beyond cats and dogs, as exotics and livestock are difficult to find qualified care for. In selecting me, you will find a caregiver fully committed to learning everything about your individual animal, including a meet-and-greet, discussion of their specific needs and research as needed.
