About Mackenzie

Hi! I'm a 27-year-old former Big-4 accountant who has recently returned to New York after spending the last two years living and working abroad. I am the oldest girl, and second eldest of eight kids in my Midwest-based family. Therefore, I have a lifetime of experience with kids (literally). I am caring, loving, and most-importantly very empathetic and sensitive to children's always-changing needs and moods. With such a big family, I've grown up in a nonstop household where changing diapers, helping with homework, and playing in the yard with the little ones was a part of my everyday life. I truly miss being around children -- this is why I'm so keen to meet a family looking for a part-time babysitter/nanny. I think there is nothing better in the world than having a positive impact on a child's life. I can assure you I am a do-it-all kind of 'sitter'. I'll cook, clean, potty-train... you name it. I've worked in high-demanding roles and I hold myself to the highest standards; I try my best to always exceed expectations no matter what job I do. I'm looking forward to meeting you!
