A year of experience helping take care of a child with special needs doesn't sound like a lot, but with the amount of love I have for taking care of children not to mention children with special needs hopefully means more to you than my experience level. Besides my year babysitting for a family with a child with autism and epilepsy, my mom has worked for human support services for as long as I can remember. Human support services is a facility that helps adults with developmental disabilities improve their abilities. For as long as I can remember I've always spent time there playing games with the clients, helping them cook, clean, move, or even dominate at the special Olympics.
