About Mackenzie

As a childcare provider with five years of experience caring for children, I'm passionate about nurturing their growth and development in a safe environment. My background includes formal coursework in early childhood education and development at a daycare, as well as First Aid and CPR/AED training. I have a patient, fun and creative personality, which allows me to engage with children in a friendly manner. When it comes to communicating with parents, I believe in open and honest communication I provide verbal updates at pickup and follow their preferred communication method to address any questions or concerns. Regarding household rules, I prioritize consistency and follow the parents' guidance to ensure a harmonious environment for the child/children. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, physical games, board games, and puzzles. I feel that children should use their imagination and be somewhat active outside of just screen time!
