About Mackenzie

Hello! I was previously a preschool teacher in Denton before relocating to Sherman. I moved out here to be closer to family and spend more time with my infant nephew! The ages I have the most experience with are 6mo- 5 years. I've cared for younger and older, just not as much! I studied film for 3 years in Santa Fe and drawing and new media for two years at UNT. I'm really passionate about creativity and self expression! My goal is to be an art teacher for elementary age kiddos. I've been CPR certified and I'm comfortable with basic first aid. I'm very organized and flexible! Because I have a background in art, I love getting kids excited about creating and learning to express themselves artistically! I'm also comfortable with cooking, basic house keeping, caring for sick kids, and taking them out for fun or educational purposes! I have tattoos (kid friendly) and two cats.
