Much of my childhood and young adult life involved volunteering and working events, jobs, volunteer positions for children and adults with disabilities. I went on to obtain a masters degree in special education from the University of Wisconsin. I have worked as a teaching assistant in a self contained special education classroom and currently hold a teaching position in Fairfax County.
