About Mackenzie

Hi, I'm Mackenzie! I'm currently living in Jersey City and pursuing my doctorate in Occupational Therapy at NYU. Before starting my program, I had the rewarding experience of nannying for a wonderful family while attending Seton Hall University. I cared for their 6-year-old daughter (since she was just 3) and their 4-year-old son (since he was 2), and I truly enjoyed building strong, trusting relationships with both the kids and their parents. Although I had to leave to relocate for school, I'm happy to say we still keep in touch! During my time with the family, my responsibilities included driving the kids to and from daycare, managing morning and bedtime routines, meal prep and cooking, light cleaning, and laundry. I also have experience working in a daycare with infants ages 4 to 18 months, which has deepened my understanding of developmental milestones and effective caregiving. I'm excited about the opportunity to bring my experience and love for nurturing kids to a new family!
