About Mackenzie

Hello! My name is Mackenzie and I have been working in childcare for last 10 years! My approach to childcare: My number 1 priority will ALWAYS be the safety of the children. No matter what. I love to supervise kids as they learn and explore their surroundings! I feel the best way to learn is by experience and I love to provide that for little ones! I think outside time has to be one of the most beneficial things for young children while they're growing up, the fresh air and the play in nature is so so important! I love to get on eye level of child, and see things from their point of view, interact and actively engage. I have lots of experience planning daily age appropriate activities, but also just getting them involved as much as possible with every day tasks, even the little stuff! Like cooking and cleaning, if they can stir something or hold the dust pan for me I am all for it! It gives them such a sense of importance and really models those behaviors for them early on.
